Delete your Instagram data

If you commented on an @dumbdopeofficial post and our reply tool sent you a message, it stored the ID Instagram gives you for our account, your Instagram username, your comment text, which post it was on, when you posted it, and whether our message and reply went through. You can have all of it deleted.

How to ask

Email hello@dumbdope.com with the subject "Delete my Instagram data" and your Instagram username. Or send @dumbdopeofficial a direct message that says "delete my data".

What happens next

We delete those records within 30 days and write back to confirm. Even if you never ask, we delete them 90 days after your comment and keep only counts that don't identify you.

This doesn't remove your comment from Instagram. You can delete the comment yourself in the Instagram app.

Your account, listing or newsletter

To delete your Dumb Dope account or directory listing, or to stop the newsletter, say so in the same email, or email hello@dumbdope.com any time.

If Meta sent you here

If you removed our app in your Instagram or Facebook settings and Meta gave you a confirmation code, we received your request. Keep the code and include it if you contact us about the request.
